Spinal Decompression Therapy in Louisiana
First approved by the FDA in 2001, spinal decompression therapy has evolved into a highly cost-effective treatment for degenerative spinal discs, disc herniations, and spinal stenosis. Decompression therapy works by significantly reducing intra-discal pressures that are placed on injured disc tissue.
MULTI-FACETED APPROACH
We combine physical rehabilitation, neuromuscular massage, ligament-based nutrition, and advanced pain-relieving cold laser with spinal decompression to not only treat your pain and injured disc ligaments but to also help regenerate injured discs and tissues.
USED TO TREAT
Spinal decompression is used to treat patients with herniated or bulging discs, degenerative disc disease, facet syndrome, sciatica or leg pain, failed back surgery syndrome, and non-specific mechanical neck or low back pain resulting in spinal stenosis.
WHAT TO EXPECT
You are fully clothed during this type of therapy. The doctor fits you with a harness around your pelvis and another around your trunk. You either lie face down or face up on a computer-controlled table. Treatments may last 30 to 45 minutes and you may require 20 to 28 treatments over five to seven weeks.
